The Baytown Municipal Police Association is an employee association representing sworn and civilian employees of the Baytown Police Department. The association acts as the designated bargaining entity for the police department, representing our members in an effort to maintain competitive wages and benefits, as well as the best working conditions in the State of Texas.
BMPA was formed in 1968 by dedicated members of the Baytown Police Department. Though long retired, the memory of these hardworking men remain with our members today as we strive to foster a positive working relationship with the City of Baytown and the community we serve.
BMPA supports a variety of charitable events and organizations throughout the greater Baytown area in addition to our own BMPA Helping a Hero Charity, which is designed to aid officers and civilian employees of the Baytown Police Department, as well as surrounding area agencies, in their time of need.
